Founding Partner of
The Gil Law Firm
Specialized in bankruptcy law since 2000, drawing on his background in finance and banking. He has filed thousands of bankruptcy cases for individuals and businesses in Dothan, AL. Born in Puerto Rico, Rafael holds a law degree from Faulkner University and is licensed in Alabama and the Federal Courts. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and resides in Dothan with his wife and four children.

Jake Paul

Admitted to the bar in 1976, has extensive legal experience, including work in bankruptcy law, wills, estates, and uncontested divorces. He has represented clients for the Law Offices of Rafael Gil III, P.C. since 2012. Born in Geneva, AL, Jake graduated from Dartmouth College with a major in History and served in the U.S. Navy. He earned his law degree from the University of Alabama and later obtained a Master’s in Urban Planning. Jake has also worked as a planning coordinator in Oregon and Florida before returning to Alabama to join his family’s law practice.
